That story starts with Tony Milliken, a passionate entrepreneur whose journey began when he was just 11 years old, working in concrete and asphalt long before it was a career. By 1996, Tony had turned that boyhood hustle into a professional pursuit – committed to mastering his craft and building something that would last.
Today, Tony is the founder and driving force behind Milliken Corporation, a company specializing in concrete, asphalt, grading, and drainage. What began as a hands-on passion has grown into a respected regional leader in site prep and paving. With decades of experience and a relentless work ethic, Tony has built Milliken Corporation on a foundation of excellence, integrity, and long-term relationships – serving both residential and commercial clients across Middle Tennessee and beyond.
Tony and his wife Tara have been married since 1997. Together, they’ve raised six children, all of whom now work for Milliken Corporation or one of the other family-run brands in some capacity. In November of 2024, they welcomed their first grandson, adding a new branch to a legacy that’s still growing.
